To get started making your beeswax candle, you want to warm the wax enough to make it soft and pliable. You can warm it in the natural sun for a while or place it in an oven at 250 degrees, on a cookie sheet lined with a towel. Remember it will only take a few minutes for the wax to soften.
After determining the size of beeswax candle you wish to make, cut the beeswax accordingly. Then cut the wick 1 ½ inches longer than the length of your candle. Place the wick 1/8 of an inch from the edge and fold the wax over the wick pressing firmly to seal it. Then roll the sheet around the wick until you've reached the desired diameter. Seal the edge with a warm metal spatula, and trim the wick to ½ inch above the beeswax candle.
