Diet Hypnosis - Hypnotherapy and Dieting
As wonderful as hypnosis is, a diet regime to follow alongside hypnotherapy is also ideal. Hypnotherapy conquers the first mental turnover towards your goal to become healthy. Once you are able to recognize what it is that you need to be doing different, diet and exercise should soon follow.
Foods to Stay Away From
A lot of people who desire to loose weight are victims to "easy access food". These easy access foods are probably the worst sustenance you can put in your body. These foods are readily available as a snack at any gas station, or quick turn off the highway. Some of these foods include/ but are not limited to:
- Potato chips/ tortilla chips
- Food from fast food restaurants
- "King size" candy bars and other sweets
- Sweet, artificially flavored drinks/ juices
These types of foods will affect your body in worse, more permanent ways than maybe they already have. You have the potential to develop serious health issues if you continue to eat so unhealthily.
Ideal Food Choices
The easiest way to start avoiding such destructive foods is to never leave the house hungry. By allowing yourself a healthy snack, you won't feel hungry at inappropriate times. The possibilities are endless and delicious when it comes to healthy eating. You just need to learn what foods compliment other foods in the healthy food world.
When eating meals, make sure to always have a bit of protein for fuel. Vegetables of any sort are great for your body, and don’t be scared of carbohydrates. Everything is OK in moderation. Maybe in the beginning of your diet, try to stay clear of foods you may think you'll have difficulty stopping eating. Once you feel more confident that you can in fact put down a bowl of pasta when you're full, go for it. The same goes for sweets or salty foods.
In between meal snacks are just as important as eating proper meals themselves. Healthy, filling snacks are great for you and will hold you over until the next mealtime. If you don’t snack, you will be more likely over eat at your next meal. Some healthy ideas for snacks:
- Yogurt
- Fruit
- Cheese and nuts (of any kind)
- A small salad
- Protein drink
