Hypnotherapy is when you tap into your subconscious and fall into a trance-like state. While in this trance-like state, your mind is more open to suggestions. This trance-like state is something that many of us tap into at various points in the day during normal activities (i.e. watching a movie, reading, driving). When this occurs, most of the time we dont even realize it.

However, when being guided through hypnotherapy, you will naturally feel relaxed and uninhibited. This allows for you to tune out any outside stresses and/or worries. When in this trance-like state of mind, you have no fear of embarrassments or feel the need to keep yourself conscious self in check. This makes you more susceptible to the power of positive suggestion. You will be more likely to "embrace the idea completely" as your mind is more willing.
