Make your own baseball drawer handles

What little boy wouldn't love drawer pulls that look like baseballs? This easy project can be done with just some white and black acrylic paint, polyurethane, one medium and one small craft brush and round, unfinished wooden knobs, and some sandpaper. First sand the wooden knobs and clean them off with a rag to remove any residue. Next, paint the knobs white. If they come with the screw in them, you can make your job easier by sticking them, like a golf tee, into a piece of foam for painting. After the white paint is completely dry, use the fine paintbrush and the black paint to paint on the stitch design on the ball. When everything is dry, add a coat or two of polyurethane to protect the knobs from wear.

Make your own flower drawer handles

Little girls love these pretty drawer handles. This project requires round, flat toped unfinished wooden handles, three colors of acrylic paint, a brush and some polyurethane and sandpaper. First sand the wooden knobs and clean them off with a rag to remove any residue. Next, paint the knobs your chosen background color. Lighter color works well. If the knobs come with the screw in them, you can make your job easier by sticking them, like a golf tee, into a piece of foam for painting. Once the knobs are dry, go ahead and paint daisy petals, like the spokes of a wheel, to cover the front of the knob. Allow to dry. Finally take your third color and paint a small round circle in the center of your daisy. When everything is dry, add a coat or two of polyurethane to protect the knobs from wear.
