Bosch Hedge Trimmers
Hedges require grooming to maintain solid lines and edges. Bosch hedge trimmers range from the hand-held Isio that is meant for light jobs to the AHS models that trim your hedges quickly.
The hand-held Isio Bosch hedge trimmers are perfect for detailed work. If you enjoy trimming your hedges into whimsical shapes, you need a set of these 3.6v rechargeable hedge trimmers. The AHS models are larger and great for all-over shrub and hedge grooming. Laser-cut diamond ground trimming blades provide years of exceptional trimming without the blades becoming worn or dull.
Batteries on the Bosch hedge trimmers charge in three hours. With each fully-charged battery, you get almost an hour of continuous run time.
Bosch Grass Trimmers
Bosch sells a variety of rechargeable lawn trimmers. Battery size ranges from 14.4 to 18 volts and all take about three hours to charge. For an average sized lawn, you should have enough battery life to complete all of your trimming chores.
The lawn trimmer models offered by Bosch weigh between two and three kilograms. They're very lightweight and versatile. For those with limited arm muscle, two wheeled versions, ART 26 or ART 30, are well suited to normal use.
Tips for Trimming Lawns and Hedges
Before trimming your grass or hedge with Bosch hedge or grass trimmers, check for foreign objects like toys, rocks and other items that may jam the blades or be projected across your yard. This helps remove any risk of injury during use.
To avoid trimming too much off your hedge, start by taking off a minimal amount. If more is needed, go over the hedge a second time. It's easy to remove more hedge, but if you cut too much off the first time around, your only option is to wait for the hedge to grow back.
Check areas for nests and hives before trimming. Hornet's nests are often well hidden in shrubs and under house eaves. Remove any nests or hives before starting to avoid a painful lesson.
