All ECHO brush cutters are backed by a industry-leading five year warranty when the brushcutter is used for residential applications. If you do use the brushcutter for commercial use, the warranty is two years.

ECHO Brush Cutter Models

ECHO sells five brush cutter models. They include:

The ECHO SRM-225U brush cutter features a powerful 21.2cc engine. Power Boost Vortex technology provides the engine with better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. This is a straight shaft brush cutter with an adjustable trimmer head. The unit comes with a shoulder strap and throttle lock out.

The SRM-230U ECHO brush cutter features the same motor as the 225U. With this heavy-duty brush cutter, you get powerful cutter line and can add an optional blade. The brush cutter features anti-vibration technology.

The SRM-265U comes with a 25.4cc engine and larger see-through fuel tank. It has a straight shaft and shoulder harness. Four-layer cable cuts through saplings, thick weeds and vines with ease, but if you want to add a blade, the kit is available online and at ECHO dealers.

While not their most powerful model, the SRM-280U is designed for heavy-duty brush cutter projects. It features a shoulder harness, commercial air filtration system and 28.1cc engine.

The SRM-410U powers through anything. The 42.7cc engine is the most powerful of ECHO's brush cutters. The clear fuel tank holds almost 34 ounces and you get the blade kit included.

ECHO Brand Power Blend Oil

It is important to note that for the warranty to remain valid, you must use ECHO Power Blend oil. Power Blend oil is a patented synthetic oil. The blend is specially designed for ECHO Power Boost Vortex engines. It helps reduce friction and causes engines to heat up and wear out more quickly.

The other benefit to Power Blend oil is that it heats without smoking. Therefore, you get fewer emissions without smoking. Added ingredients help double the life of the fuel in your see-through tank keeping your engine cleaner and adding years to the engine's life.
