Echo Hedge Trimmers - Gas Hedge Trimmers

An Echo hedge trimmer is not your every day trimmer. These are top-notch, quality garden hedge trimmers packed with unique features. When you want a dependable tool that won't wear out quickly, head straight to the Echo product line.

Stay Sharp with the Patented RazorEdge Blade System

Echo hedge trimmers come with RazorEdge blade systems. The blades are laser cut for superior, long-lasting edges. Don't expect the blades to dull quickly and need replacing. These blades are meant to last years.

Select Your Dream Echo Hedge Clippers

Choose between twelve Echo hedge clipper models. Some of the models offer articulating blades ranging from 20 to 59 inches in length. Two Echo hedge cutter models offer a rotating handle for comfort.

Double-sided blades quickly slide back and forth to cut through shrubbery anyway you hold the Echo hedge cutters. Single-sided blades are generally safer because the cutting side points away from you, but you must frequently change position to cut all of your hedge. Providing you use care while trimming hedges, choosing between double-sided or single-sided blades is really up to your preferences.

All Echo hedge clippers have a throttle lock-out function that keeps the user from accidentally activating the blade system before the operator is ready. The garden hedge clippers come with a five-year warranty for consumers or two-year warranty if the hedge clipper is used commercially.

The Echo hedgeclippers come in five shaft lengths:

  • 20-inch
  • 24-inch
  • 30-inch
  • 33-inch
  • 40-inch
  • 51-inch
  • 59-inch

Two 20-inch Echo hedge clipper models are available: HC-150 and HC-150J. The key difference is that the HC-150J features the i-75 Starter system. The starter helps reduce starting effort by up to 75 percent. It's a great feature for those who struggle with pull-cord engines.

The 24-inch models also give the easy-start option. You can choose the HC-165 if you want the i-30 starter or go with the HC-155 for the base model without the easy starter. In addition, the HC-165 has a five-position handle that allows you to cut hedges comfortably from any angle.

If you want an Echo hedge cutter with a 30-inch shaft, there are three available options: HC-185, HC-225 and HC-235. The HC-185 is the only double-sided blade system, plus it throws in the five-position handle for comfort. The other two models use a single-sided blade. There is a 33-inch single-sided shaft model available with the same features as other Echo hedge trimmers.

If you want 40-inch shafts, a single-sided blade is your only option. Model HC-245 comes with an i-30 starter system and vibration reduction on one of the handles.

The 51-inch shaft hedge cutter system and 59-inch shaft system are best suited for trimming very tall shrubs from the ground. They both some with i-30 starting systems and single-sided blades.
