Information on the AH200 Series of Shindaiwa Hedge Cutters

There are four models in Shindaiwa's 200 series of hedgetrimmers. They include:

AH231

AHS231

AH242

AHS242

The AH231 hedge trimmer models are lightweight and give you say on the length of the hedge cutter's shaft. All four models require a 50:1 gasoline/oil mixture. The AH231 model is adjustable to 150 degrees and the AHS231 adjusts up to 130 degrees. Having the adjustable trimmer helps when you're trimming in tight places.

With the 23.9cc engine, the AH242 and AHS242 models are designed for professional use. Blades fold up in between usage which is a nice safety feature. These models also feature throttle-lock to prevent accidental blade movement before you're ready.

AH2510 and AHS2510 Details

The AH2510 is heftier than other models, but it's packed with special features. Leading the way is the powerful 24.5cc engine with the patented C4 technology. The fuel tank holds more than 20 ounces of fuel and allows you to use the Shindaiwa hedge cutter at any angle without interrupting the fuel flow.

The engine is far quieter than on other models and the special engine uses less fuel than other two-cycle engines. Like on the 200 series, adjust the hedge cutter blade in 11 different locking positions for optimal cutting angles.

Shindaiwa DH Hedge Cutter Models

The DH models provide your choice of double-bladed or single-bladed hedge cutters. The DH212 and DH231 are double-bladed hedgetrimmers suitable to heavy use. The DH231 is slightly smaller in size and best suited towards small to medium hedges.

The DH2510 quiet, powerful and equipped with the C4 technology. The reason this trimmer is so popular is due to the incredible blade speed. The 1.1 hp engine tackles branches with ease, but it still offers anti-vibration technology to prevent your hands from tiring out during use.

Shindaiwa HT Hedge Cutter Models

Choose from two hedge trimmer models in the HT series. The HT2510 offers the quiet, yet very powerful C4 engine. Exhaust fumes are minimal and both the front and rear handles feature an anti-vibration design. The HT231 uses the Shindaiwa two-cycle engine, which isn't as quiet, but the gear case is designed to last longer and cost less to repair.

Both the HT231 and HT2510 use single-sided blades.
