Low Ceiling Pot Rack - Lighted Hanging Pot Racks - Hanging Pot Rack Light
Low ceiling pot racks answer the demand for kitchen storage. Many homes today have standard seven-foot ceilings. The problem with lower ceilings is that a standard hanging pot rack creates a potential hazard. It's far too easy to hit your head on the pots and pans if the pot rack is centered over an island or countertop.
With low ceiling pot racks, the design takes the lower ceiling heights into effect. Instead of having long chains that dangle down, there is a much shorter mount that attaches directly to the ceiling joists. There's less gap between the top of the pot rack and the ceiling. The only thing you may have to give up is storage above the kitchen pot rack grid.

The Enclume oval or rectangle low ceiling pot rack hangs down eight inches. It won't get in your way because it does fit snugly to the ceiling. The kitchen pot racks average 37-inches wide and 20.5-inches deep. It comes with another hooks to hang twelve pots.
Installing Enclume Low Ceiling Pot Racks
It's important that your low ceiling pot rack is mounted to the ceiling joists. Failure to do so can result in your pot rack falling from the ceiling and breaking stone floors and counters. If you're uncertain where the studs are located in walls or ceilings, use a stud finder to pinpoint the edges and aim for the center between those two marks.
In some cases, the mounting screws may not reach enough into the joist to ensure a good grip. If you have thicker sheetrock or plaster, the depth can be impacted. If you need longer screws, your local hardware store will carry them.
Low ceiling pot racks are great options for above a refrigerator or freezer. If there is no cabinetry above your appliance, consider using the low ceiling pot rack in that wasted space. It keeps pots and pans easily accessible without getting in your way of counter or floor space.
