Jonanthan Beauty Shower Filter - Remove Chlorine with Water Filters
A Jonathan Beauty Shower Filter eliminates problems with well and city water. Minerals, chemicals and heavy metals have a detrimental effect on your health and dry out your skin and hair. If you want healthier looking hair and skin, a shower filter is a simple solution.
Toxins in Household Water
City water systems use chlorine and other chemicals to purify water. The problem is that chlorine is drying, as well as being a lung irritant. The heat of the shower water strengthens the chlorine vapors that you then breathe in.
Another issue is the synthetic chemicals found in water supplies. THMs and VOCs link to various forms of cancer. A Jonathan Beauty Shower Filter removes these chemicals from your shower water.
While you are unlikely to face chlorine, THMs and VOCs in your well water, you may deal with sulfur bacteria causing a rotten egg smell. A shower water filtration system removes sulfur.
Finally, lead and copper leach from your piping into your shower. Eliminate exposure to these heavy metals with a shower filter.
Cleaning Your Water with a Jonathan Beauty Shower Filter
The Jonathan Beauty Shower Filter uses a two-stage water filter system to remove bacteria, chemicals, minerals, odors, sediment and toxins from your water. The first stage of the water filter de-ionizes chlorine and balances the pH of the water. During the second stage, coconut shell fibers absorbs chemicals and heavy metals.
The resulting water flow is pH balanced. You'll be showering in pure spring water. Your hair and skin will look radiant and for those who color their hair, the color will remain vibrant for far longer.
Installing a Jonathan Beauty Shower Filter
Installation of the Jonathan Beauty filter system is simple. Remove your old showerhead and any Teflon tape used to create a leak-free seal. Add a new layer of Teflon tape over the water pipe and screw on the filter system.
You'll need to flush the carbon filter using cold water. Once the water is clear, you can turn the shower back off.
Add a layer of Teflon tape to the filter connector and screw on the new showerhead. You shouldn't have problems with leaks if you've tightened the connections enough. If you do notice small leaks, make sure the connections are threaded right and that the connectors are snug.
