AT2035 - Delivers Detail Across the Board

Whether you are a sound engineer or performer, recording in a home, project or professional studio, your critical ear can discern quality when you hear it. A Mic to be reckoned with, the AT2035 is reputed for its consistency model to model worldwide. Audio-Technica’s side-address Cardioid Condenser is equipped with a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and 10 dB pad (nominal).

AT2035’s Low Mass Diaphragm Has an Easy Handle on High SPLs

Depend on Audio-Technica’s long-standing manufacturing standards for the AT2035 Condenser to handle high sound pressure levels easily. Its low-mass diaphragm facilitates smooth and natural sound. Side and rear sound pickup is reduced by its Cardioid polar pattern. This, combined with its custom shock mount, support superior isolation of desired sound source.

Audio-Technica AT2035 Technical Specs:

Intended for use in professional applications with remote power.
Requires 11V to 52V DC phantom power from mixer or console or separate in-line source, (e.g. Audio-Technica AT8801 single-channel or CP8506 4-channel phantom power series).

Microphone’s XLRM-type connector – low impedance (Lo-Z) balanced.
Signal appears across Pins 2 and 3. Pin 1 is ground (shield).
Output phase – “Pin 2 hot” – positive acoustic pressure produces positive voltage at Pin 2
Wire all mic cables consistently: Pin 1-to-Pin 1, etc. to avoid phase cancellation and poor sound

Integral 80 Hz hi-pass filter provide easy switching from a flat frequency response to a low-end roll-off.
High-pass position decreases mic’s sensitivity to close use vocal popping, and reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise (i.e., traffic, air ducts, etc.), room reverberation and mechanically-coupled vibrations.

The Audio-Technica AT2035 Cardioid Condenser weighs 403 g (14.2 oz) and measures 170.0 mm (6.69”) long, 52.0 mm (2.05”) maximum body diameter. This rugged metal Mic is made to provide years of satisfying service.
