Denon DJ Mixers

Known best for their line of audio equipment including headphones, speaker systems and stereo systems, Denon also offers a line of quality DJ mixers.

Denon is an award-winning company with a solid history. Their first award came in 1977 when Billboard Magazine honored them with the “Trend Setter Award.” Other awards include: European Audio Innovation of the Year and Montreux International Diplome d’Honneur Technique.

Founded in 1910, Denon is one of the oldest audio equipment designers and manufacturers out there. Frederick Whitney Horn’s career began as an importer of recorders in Yokohama. Eventually, he branched out and started building recorders. They were a hit and caught the eye of Nippon Columbia who merged with Horn’s small company.

Under Nippon Columbia’s partnership, Japan-U.S. Recorders Manufacturing was able to produce recorders, gramophones and the records that played on them. During the 1930s, Japan-U.S. Recorders Manufacturing merged with Denki Onkyo. They opted to shorten the name to Den-On, thus resulting in the name that is a household brand today.

Best-selling Denon Mixers

There is more than meets the eye when it comes to Denon. Many households know them as having great stereo systems and headphones. They do, however, offer a nice line of professional-grade mixers.

Denon’s DJ division is still taking home awards. Winner of the Tech Award and Club World’s Best DJ Product nominee, it’s apparent that Denon has not lost their touch.
