Solaire Infrared Gas Grill - Infra Red Grills

When cooking on a Solaire infrared gas grill, you must remember a few tips. Infra red grilling is not the same as grilling on a standard outdoor gas grill. Infra-red radiation cooks hotter and faster. Your steaks for a perfect crust that traps juices inside and never dries the meat out.

Preheating Times for a Solaire Infrared Gas Grill

Unlike patio charcoal grills, infra red cooking grills do not require more than a few minutes to heat up. With outdoor charcoal grills, you have to wait for the coals to burn and start glowing red. Traditional outdoor gas grills also require time to preheat to allow the space of the grill to get hot enough to sear your meats.

Turn your Solaire infra-red gas grill on high and wait three minutes. This gives the outdoor barbecue grill enough time to reach maximum cooking temperatures.

Cooking Meats and Vegetables on Your Infrared Cooking Surface

Put your food on the grill and sear each side for a maximum of three minutes. Turn the heat down and then finish cooking the food to the desired temperature. Turn the food every few minutes to prevent burnt spots. Baste if desired when you turn the food.

Basting is an effective way to increase flavor and juiciness within your food. Whenever possible, marinade your meats in your favorite recipe overnight. Pierce the surface of the foods with a fork to allow the marinade to soak deep into the food. For maximum flavor, place your meat in a marinade within a freezer bag. Then freeze your meats in the marinade. Thaw completely before grilling.

Remove your meat or vegetables from the grill and let sit for a few minutes before serving. This method delivers professional quality meats, seafood and vegetables.

Keeping Your Infrared Grilling Surface Clean

When you're done cooking on your Solaire infrared gas grill, you should shut off your grill and then use a wire brush to scrape off any residue. Every few days or weeks, depending on how often you use your grill, you should pull the grates out and clean the infra-red grilling box to vacuum away residue and make sure the holes are not clogged with basting sauces or particles.
