Ted Stevens International Airport serves more than five million passengers every year. The airport can be busy, so it helps to know where to find suitable parking before you arrive. There are two terminals, South Terminal handles domestic flights while the North Terminal sees all international flights. Parking areas are convenient to each terminal.

Driving to Anchorage International Airport

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is located on International Airport Road. From the north, take Glenn Highway/5 th Avenue in Anchorage. When you reach the end of 5 th Avenue, turn left onto L Street. Turn right onto International Road.

Those coming from the south will follow Seward Highway into Anchorage. Take the O'Malley Interchange Exit and turn left. Continue on O'Malley Interchange until it becomes Minnesota Drive. Take the International Airport Road Interchange and follow airport signs.

Those using GPS devices can enter the ANC airport's address into their system for exact directions. The address is 5000 Old International Airport Road.

Facilities for Parking at Anchorage Airport

Rates at the South Terminal Parking Garage include a free half hour. After that first half hour, expect to pay around $15 a day. The North Terminal Parking Lot also offers the free half hour. After that, you pay a little over $10 per day. These two parking areas are geared for short-term use.

If you need long-term parking, the South Terminal Long Term Lot offers a free half hour and after that it is approximately $10 per day. You can also take advantage of a Park and Fly Lot operated by the airport on International Airport Road. The Park, Ride and Fly Lot charges under $10 a day and provides free shuttle to and from both terminals.

Each parking lot applies a maximum stay. The South Terminal Long Term Lot and North Terminal Parking Lot both require your vehicle to leave the parking facilities within 10 days. The South Terminal Parking Garage provides you with up to 30 days. The Park, Ride and Fly Lot is best with a 90-day maximum stay.

Airport parking fees can be paid with debit and credit card.

If you're simply picking someone up, head to the Cell Phone Lot off International Airport Road. This lot provides you with free parking while you wait for your passenger's call. Once they're through baggage claim, drive up to the curb nearest baggage claim for pick up.
