Driving to Miami International Airport
Miami International Airport parking areas and buildings are just north of the 836 and east of the 826.
Those traveling north or south on the I-95 will take the 441/836 Exit in Miami heading west. The NW 42 nd Avenue/LeJeune Road Exit leads to MIA.
If you're coming from the I-195, continue heading west onto the Airport Expressway and follow signs to the airport. Travelers from the north or south taking the 826 will exit onto the 836 and then take the exit onto NW 42 nd Avenue.

Best Miami International Airport Parking
MIA valet parking makes the most sense if you're in a hurry. For approximately $30 a day, you can have someone else handle the hassle of finding a parking space near the terminal. There is a maximum 20-day length of stay with valet parking at MIA. This parking area is located on the second level of the North Parking Lot.
MIA short-term parking is nearest the departures and arrivals levels near all three terminals in the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. Rates start at approximately $3 per half-hour. These garages also offer long-term parking options, make sure you follow signs to reach the right section. Long-term parking rates are more affordable, approximately $15 per day, but the spaces are farther from the terminals. There is a maximum stay of 60 days in either of these parking areas.
The Economy Park and Ride lot at Miami International Airport is your most affordable option. It's located at 1350 NW 45 th Avenue and free shuttle brings you to and from the airport. You'll pay less than $10 per day in this lot.
MIA parking for the disabled is nearest the moving sidewalks on the 3 rd level of the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. There is additional parking on the ground level of the Dolphin garage.
Payment for your Miami Airport Parking fees can be made with cash, check or major credit card. You can sign up for a free Sun Pass Plus account. This is a handy feature for frequent travelers. Your Sun Pass is linked to a credit or debit card. When you exit the parking area, a transponder on your vehicle automatically lifts the gate and the charges are billed right to your account and a copy of the bill is sent to you.
If you're simply picking up passengers, head to the Cell Phone Lot off LeJeune Road. There are 60 parking spaces where you wait for a call from your passenger. Once you've gotten that call, you simply drive up to the MIA terminal for pick up.
Alternative Parking Near Miami International Airport
United Airport Parking has a large lot a few minutes from the Miami Airport. This MIA Park and Fly lot allows you to park for as little as $5 a day and their free shuttle brings you right to the airport in time for your flight.
Another suitable option is a MIA Park, Sleep and Fly package. If you need to stay in a hotel before or after your flight, book the hotel room and ask about leaving your car in their lot during your trip. Most hotels allow you seven days of parking in the room rate.
