Best Parking at Norfolk, Virginia Airport

Passengers have three options for Norfolk Airport parking. Very short trips, usually best for dropping off or picking up passengers, are generally suited if you park in the short-term metered lot. Parking here is little over $1 an hour and you must have quarters for the meters.

The short-term parking lot is on each side of the main departures terminal. Rates in these lots range from $1 to $24. There is also a section of short-term parking near the arrivals terminal in Garage A.

Long-term parking prices range from $1 to $7. Long-term parking is adjacent to the arrivals terminal and located in Garage A, Garage B and Garage C. There are height restrictions on the three garages. Garage A handles the largest vehicles, up to 8' 2”. The other two garages have a restriction of 6' 7”. Those with larger vehicles should head to the oversized vehicle long-term lot to the side of Garage C.

Spacious handicapped parking places are found in each garage and lot. Ramps in the short-term lots are wider for wheelchair accessibility.

A pedestrian bridge connects the arrivals and departure terminals. Pay your parking fees with cash, credit or debit cards. There are designated credit card lanes for faster exits. At this time, the credit card lanes cannot accept American Express Centurion (black) or American Express Translucent (clear) cards.

Additional Norfolk Airport Parking Ideas

Many Norfolk area hotels offer Park, Sleep and Fly packages. You book a hotel room for the night before or after your flight. While you're away, you leave your car parked in the hotel parking lot. Rates for ORF Park, Sleep and Fly packages are generally far less than you pay for airport parking.

While the length of time varies, most hotels provide you with a minimum seven days of parking included in your Norfolk Airport Park, Sleep and Fly package. If you need additional time, hotels often offer discounted parking rates to their guests that are far cheaper than ORF parking rates.
