Driving Directions for Oakland International Airport
The coastal Oakland International Airport is tucked on a peninsula south of Oakland and west of San Leandro. The I-880 is to the east, just a few miles from the airport.
Take the 880 and get off at the 98 th Avenue or Hegenberger Road Exit. Either will bring you to the airport. Head west to Airport Drive/Ron Cowan Parkway and follow airport signs to the OAK parking garages.
Those traveling from downtown Oakland can take Bay Farm Island Bridge to Doolittle Drive. Drive through Shoreline Park and turn right onto Harbor Bay Parkway. Take the left onto Ron Cowan Parkway and follow airport signs.
Oakland International Airport Parking Rules and Locations

Hourly parking is optimal for short-term parking. It's right in front of Terminals 1 and 2. Pay upwards of $4 an hour in this lot.

The Economy Lot is your best bet for budget Oakland International Airport parking. Free shuttle brings you to and from this parking lot. Some spaces are within walking distance of the terminals.
