Driving to Philadelphia International Airport
Reach Philadelphia International Airport parking and terminals from I-76, I-95 or the 291/Industrial Highway. From the I-76 take the I-95 Exit in South Philadelphia East and head west. Take the PHL Airport Exit.
From the I-95, airport exit signs are clearly marked. Watch for the Industrial Highway exit. The airport is right off the 291/Industrial Highway.
For precise directions using an online service such as Google Maps or MapQuest, enter 8000 Essington Avenue. You can also use that address with your GPS system.
Parking at Philadelphia International Airport
Directly across from the terminals are the PHL parking garages. Rates here vary from $3 to $38. Short-term parking rates are higher than the regular garage rates. The ground level of the garages is for short-term parking. Vehicles cannot remain in the short-term parking lot overnight.
After the ground level, Philadelphia Airport parking garages do have a height restriction of six feet. Those vehicles taller than six feet must proceed to the economy parking lots or the short-term parking lot. Handicapped accessible vans will receive the lowest garage rate for short-term stays. To receive the lowest rate, a handicapped placard must be clearly displayed.
The Economy Parking lot is located past Terminal F. There are free shuttle buses available to transport passengers to and from their terminals. This is a flat rate lot best used for long-term parking. Expect to pay a little more than $10 a day in this lot. Vehicles weighing 9,000 pounds or more may not park in this lot.
When parking your vehicle in any Philadelphia International Airport garage or lot, make sure your vehicle is parked with the license plate facing the drive. Cars without their license plate clearly displayed may be towed.
